I'd rather use messenger pigeons than stick with Comcrap. Promos never work, CSRs don't know squat and service is never as advertised...gotta love the monopoly market.

Comcast is NOTORIOUS for RAPING YOU on the backend of deals like this.
Call in 6 months and try to get the same price and find out you're actually locked in a 12 month contract!!!! Their speeds are top notch though. Just a shady as hell business practice. The Art of Slickdeals: Chapter 7. Window Shopping

I was able to schedule disconnect by phone for 5 days from now, then I just chatted when I saw an upgrade ad in my xfinity account, who then offered performance for 29.99 (even though the upgrade said 19.99 but had to be existing cable customer). Anyway, that's the route I chose. Hopefully the 9.99 self-install will go without a hitch.

so instead of 3 mbps, they upped me at 25 mbs for 39.99 for 12 months, no contract. i was almost ready to cancel and move to uverse but the whole change and then on forum there are lot of ppl complaints on uverse c.s. |
