I bought this same laptop for $350 in Nov 2011. Its pretty decent for general browsing and watching movies. One of the few downsides is that it can get very warm if you're watching HD videos or light gaming.

Mostly flash games. I think the AMD processor in it just runs warmer in general. It's not really that bad but it's noticeable, especially since there is an air vent on the left side.

Not really true. Handles most modern games fine at med settings.

seriously? Who in their right mind buys this generation's laptop just for playing "flash games"?? Why not just go for a 10+ year old "gaming rig" instead? Yes, I do mean "gaming rig"...

For $299, I'd buy this for my wife for flash games in a heartbeat. I wouldn't even think twice. People come in all shapes and sizes and have equally as many views on what is value to them.

I don't believe I ever said I bought the computer to play just flash games. I was just mentioning that the computer can run really warm under some circumstances. What is to you anyway what people do with things they buy?
