Had mine shipped and it arrived intact. There were some minor scratches on the base, but no big deal. My blister pack wasn't broken and in the end I was still short two flat washers.
I had the same problem last night ... I reviewed the assembly instructions ... the flat washers total 36 if you count them all .. the product ships with 34! shake head

I am 185 lbs. It seems stable for me. Also missing two washers. The bolts and washer package was broken inside and some of it scattered. For ~$50 it seems like a decent purchase. Worst case I will have a clothes hanger Smilie

Having a ratcheting wrench helps a bit too with this one...

I picked this up two days ago, finally since it took about a week and half for them to ship it for some reason. Anyways, what is everyone using as a carpet mat for this 75 pound beastly thing?

I ordered one and waited all this time. Today I get an email saying that they lost it and have cancelled the order. That's some customer service, instead of sending a replacement they just cancel the order. Walmart sucks.

for those that are starting out and unable to do pullups, use a chair assist method, put both or one feet on the seat, further away the chair from you the harder it is.

The pullup bar on this one is in the back vs the front of the other FP deal meaning you have alot more space to do variety different pullup exercises.
I wish I'd noticed this before I bought it. This is actually a very important factor for smaller spaces.

I had a hell of a time putting on one of the horizontal arm cushions, but the rest went smoothly.

Same situation here. Box looked factory sealed, but no instructions inside and blister pack holding screws fell apart so screws are all over the place. Not sure if I'm missing parts, going down to try to assemble from pictures on the web. Noticed a manufacture date of July 2011 on one of the bars so these have been sitting for a while... EEK!

Edit: a couple hours later, it's done! no missing parts although putting together based on picture alone was a real challenge. This link is your friend since you can zoom in really close > http://www.amazon.com/Everlast-Power-Fitness-Stand-Grey/dp/B005QWS0KY

If anyone has any question on assembly, let me know.

Overall, quality, fit/finish is a bit below average but it's pretty stable and for $50 delivered, I still think it was a killer deal!
I got around to assembling it only now, after I was able to clear out junk and make space. But I ran into an issue that I couldn't find any clues on from the assembly diagrams or anywhere else on the web. I am hoping you guys can help since you didn't have any issues and this is the only internet thread discussing assembly that I could find!

The L shaped push-up grips that go on the base - do they go IN the big round hole in the base or just rest ON the small hole on the other side? The two ] [ shaped base bars have a small and a large hole on opposite sides. I originally assembled it with the small hole facing up and the L push-up piece resting on it. It was hard to align and tighten it like that, and it looks crooked. Then when I got to the vertical palm-grip handles on the end of the knee-raise forearm rest, I saw that they go IN the big holes with the 20mm bolt on the bottom. So I thought maybe the base also needed to be done like that. But when I flipped the base and tried it, the L remains way too far from the vertical column to attach ! So I am confused.

If anyone could please take a picture of their base, it would help a lot! Or at least let me know what you did.

Got mine assembled. In the end I was only missing two washers. I would highly recommend using a real socket wrench instead of the included one. Appears to be pretty stable, and pretty solid too. Awesome deal @$50.

I wasted a lot of time counting and recounting the washers and thinking that I had used 2 extra somewhere, until I counted them in the assembly instructions and found that yes they use 36 and only ship 34. My package was complete and fully sealed, no other parts missing, except this, which is an error in the very design. This is a good example of the missing quality control with these cheap Chinese products. A single test assembly from a retail package would have shown them their mistake. I guess this is why it was on this fire sale.

Now I am wondering, which are the least important 2 washers that I can skip? I am guessing the knee-raise hand grips.

And yes, it is almost impossible to assemble without a ratchet. The nuts need a 17mm socket FYI.
