Apps from Amazon require the Amazon Android App on your phone. This in itself is no big deal, but the fact is that any app you have on the phone through the Amazon store 'phones home' to authorize your usage of that app - periodically and randomly. If you are without a connection (think traveling, or in a specific location without a signal) the app will not work and you may be in trouble. Games, novelty apps, etc are not a huge concern. Document editing apps, calendar apps, etc that you need to use - it's hell when you can't use them because of the authentication error.

thats how alot of the games on android is either that or tower defense or angry bird type games.

wonder how it is on the IOS platform as I haven't touch an apple product since 2002 I think the apple ipod mini.
