Ya, it will make it a bit easier to sell, but is it really that big of a deal?
Finding someone that will use the iPhone with AT&T is like...probably 40-50% of users/buyers? That's like saying....hey I'm gonna sell this used laptop, but you can only run windows on it...HOW WILL I EVER FIND A BUYER?!!?!? |

I am a newbie when it comes to iPhone unlocked...
what type of baseband will the unlocked do? Will it be the same baseband as if you are buying unlocked version from Apple for $650/750/850 (16/32/64 GB)? |

AT&T is gsm Tmobile is gsm Verizon is CDMA and gsm but can't do LTE on gsm only 4g |

The rule is, one can't unlock the phone without the permission from the carrier, not "you can't unlock your phone". So I think ebay/iphone will still work because the seller get the code from att or apple, things might change for some other phones though, sth like this one will become illegal.

title is misleading, it only applies to phones bought after the cut off. I can unlock my current iPhone legally whenever.
