For those considering this drive, you may want to consider the fact that the write speeds of the 120GB version of this drive are significantly worse than the 250 or 500GB versions. That and the endurance of the drive is supposed to be a good bit shorter as well.

you may not have long to wait. Crucial will begin shipping 1TB for $600 very soon (1-2 months?). Smaller drives could have a better ratio of cost/GB . You may even see everyone do it this year, but personally I want to see prices even lower than you.

Thanks OP! I was waiting for a good deal on a 120gig. I just want this for OS and a couple games so it's perfect!

Guys is it overkill to run this in raid?
I have the 830 version and getting this then running it in raid on Windows 8. I have a 2 Tb drive for all else and a synology 212+ 3 Tb raid |

Do you guys think any drives will be under $60 and $0.5/GB within the next 3 weeks? I have a deadline. I don't mind SATA II drives or 60GB drives as long as they're reliable. I really wish I had gotten more 60GB Pyro Drives when they were $35AR at Tigerdirect.

2)The "no HDMI, deal killer" joke isn't funny 3)Stop comparing video cards to cars, the price ranges are completely different 4)You are NOT going to call your relative to SUE and if you are, you're wasting time 5)Why does Tigerdirect ask for your SSN? No clue, just don't give it to them 6)Black Friday deals aren't as great as people make them seem. |
