higher res isnt necessarily 'expensive', its just that manufacturers discovered they can make a few extra bucks by putting on cheaper displays while they can still advertise x768 as "HD" and will continue to do so as long as people don't complain and keep buying them. In my eyes more screen real estate is king, whether its for gaming or multitasking. Im typing this from a cheap work dell laptop thats 5 years old with a 14" screen that's 1440x900. things are going backwards my friend. |

you are correct.........but the GTX630m is a pretty weak card......at higher res you'll be looking at pretty low settings. |

as for the other parts, standard isn't good enough for me personally. not saying that x768 isn't bad... i'm ok with it... but it really is hard to work on. After seven years of SD, I've come to conclude that Slickdealers are protein-powder guzzling, pistol packing, cheap-ass video game nerds.

believe me, I've made the x768 display mistake myself and I know how much it sucks. I always feel like I'm squinting, like my whole world is squeezed between miniblinds. Friends do not let friends buy x768 displays! |

good deal for a dGPU but dont believe the hype on this particular card. Its barely able to get you 30fps on Max Payne 3 medium, but having a card that can rn Max payne at all is definitely a step up.
phunk down $500 OTD on this and be glad you have a card that can eat Diablo 3 for breakfast on high or, save another $100-$150 and get you a dGPU with some real muscle. Maybe even an i7 too.....
