This TV has been dropping in price over the last 4 months according to posts here:
10/23/12 $548 01/24/13 $499 01/29/13 $449 How much lower can this thing go? |

One thing different between this model number and 50L2200U is the bottom of this set is all black not gray. I like the black much better. Good luck to all but my first set had one or two dead pixels. Exchanged it at the local Frys and even had the new set out of the box and tested it before I took it home to be sure I got a good one this time. All good now.

The problem with waiting too long (esp. at the beginning of the year) is that it becomes increasingly difficult to score last years model when retailers are making space for the new ones. What I'm trying to say is, if you are in the market of buying a new TV, don't wait too long. |

Troll, who cares you camped out for hours to get your TV a little cheaper. You bragging about it now just makes you look like a tool. Why don't you make comments about how you like the TV or something helpful.

I'm enjoying my 50L2200U greatly and highly recommend it at the <$500 price point.
As a note, I set noise reduction to medium, as I noticed some noise when watching TV. I
