I remember buying a PB last year for $180 from CowBoom. It was a 7 with everything but the wall charger. It had lots of potential but BBOS sucked! The youtube app sucked, the facebook app sucked, and those were like half the apps in the app store (; . However I now placed an order for another PB because the actual device was way ahead of its time. It was a 7 inch tablet two years ago, whereas everybody was making 10in tabs. It had no buttons, now also becoming the norm.
Anyways, while I know none of that matters, I just hope BBX saves this tablet. Last edited by abodd; 01-25-2013 at 02:31 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

just to repeat myself
Playbook = $50 . No android store . No skype . No netflix . No VOIP ( sorry only one app) . No kindle . No xxxxxx. Just name your favorite app Copy/edit/past functionality is a total joke on the playbook. As for the os upgrade waiting forever and playbook got 2.1 with nothings noticeable unless you use it with your bb phone Who is still using bb phone anyway The built quality is the only pro. |

Having purchased a 64GB Playbook when they first came out, I can honestly say, it's only been good for BlackBerry Bridge -- which allows you to use Bluetooth to connect to your BlackBerry phone (a dying breed) and check your Enterprise e-mail, surf the web, and more importantly use your BlackBerry as a remote for some pretty awesome presentations when you hook up the Playbook to HDMI ..
That all being said -- if its not for business purposes, it's been a big disappointment. Hopefully, HOPEFULLY, RIM will release OS10 for the Playbook, because as it stands right now, it's a brick that sits in my bag unless I need a presentation on the fly (aaaaaaand I forgot my laptop);. If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures .. just to teach him to do some tricks .. but only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

Got one of these a week ago for $100 shipped free. For a condition 5 it was in excellent shape. Be aware that without the rapid charger, you'll be SOL as the USB port won't provide enough oomph to charge the battery.

You can side load android apps. I have amazon mp3, and it works great, even streaming songs from the cloud player. I purchased mine last year from cowboom. It was a grade 7, with all the accessories. It was in excellent condition. For $85, and the potential for BB10, I don't think you can go wrong. I mainly use it for internet, and watching videos. Works well for my needs.
