Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 refurbished - $636 AC + tax Shipped

Ive had one since before they were released, theyre amazing. very fast light and a steal at that price. only down side is the battery life being 5 hours on heavy use (when im flying). its easily the best laptop ive ever owned. super responsive touch screen and all. im tempted to buy another for a friend at this price.

I will never buy a lenovo refurb again. Their quality check is done by chipmunks. My company bought 200 refurb dells and about a 100 refurb lenovo over the past 2 years. We had issues with 4 of 200 Dell Outlet machines and nearly 30 of the 100 lenovo outlet machines had issues ranging from minor issues to major ones to some just being dead on arrival. Their tech support / customer service is horrendous. We decided never to buy a Lenovo refurb again - not even a refurb thinkpad.

I had one for about 20 days, before I had to return it at BB since the fan noise was driving me nuts!! Normal 500$ laptops that I bought were running quieter in the same environment compared to the yoga, for 1100$ I just couldn't justify living with the noise, so off it went!!

Fan, wifi issues aside its a great laptop very intuitive to use with Windows 8..

So would you buy it again at this price?

Probably better off waiting for the Surface Pro in a week or two.

aside from the keyboard being exposed, what's the difference between this and the twist or x-tablet?

The X-tablet is a business class laptop with high durability, much faster (full wattage) CPU, pressure sensitive wacom stylus for painting/sculpting/etc., much faster graphics, and is a thicker/heavier convertible. It has a higher res screen @ 1600x900, but is also larger (13.3").

the yoga is turbo and very fast... btw it is back in stock
