Amazon has the Ozeri Gen II Digital Bath Scale with Body Weight (440 lbs), Fat, Hydration and Auto Recognition Technology for $20.96 with current discount promotion. Reviews are decent for a scale with some additional features. You do have to tap it on before getting on to weigh.

20.96 shipped! Good deal! Thanks OP been looking for a scale to replace my old rust coil one. The fact that this scale does body fat too is awesome!, (deviation ~2.5%+- according to a review); Not bad assuming you base your body fat off the scale and you just track up or down.

Just an FYI, don't buy these types of scales expecting an accurate body fat %. They are ok to track progress though, as long as you use it the same way each time (i.e. first thing in the morning before eating/drinking anything)
I've read they don't even give a good ballpark estimate, and are generally just completely off.
Apparently you'd be better off doing water displacement and body caliper tests and using the average.

In for 1. I figure most scales are usually off a little bit, but figured at this price would check it out. Thanks.

my last attempt to by an Ozeri body scale flunked as well, through a slickdeal. I'm very leery of purchasing their brand again as the quality of the last one was junk, and the accuracy was very inconsistent. Looking at the reviews on this unit, the results look unfortunately consistent Frown

These type of scales are not too accurate on every feature except weight. The most sought after feature, body fat percentage, has a wide margin of error. There are two things wrong with it. One, the technology that it utilizes, bioelectrical impedance analysis, is in itself inaccurate and not considered an official reference method. Commercial products such as this one also tend to scale the percentages down from the actual body fat percentage reading. Two, the BIA conducted from these scales only measure the bottom half of an individual's body. It is required that two node placements, one on the foot and one on the hand, are used to accurately test the impedance of fat tissue throughout the whole body when using BIA.

With all that being said, I would recommend this mainly for it being a relatively cheap digital weight scale. If you do choose to use the other features, stick only to the body fat percentage feature. Although it is not entirely accurate, it is more reliable than the other features. And if you do use the body fat percentage feature, it is only a good feature to use as a measurement of progress over time and not as a measurement of your actual body fat percentage.
