I wouldn't count on them shipping the back ordered ammo. These guys canceled the back ordered brown bear ammo deal that I posted a couple months back that was like .19 a round. It was supposed to ship 1/20 and today I looked online and my order was canceled.

Any word on the customer service about it? Meaning did you talk to them about honoring it or providing another deal (as if they have any ammo anyways ). That whole thing about removing it from the cart is kinda them holding you to paying for it but they don't hold up their part of the deal in delivering?

These guys are notorious for not shipping backorder or maybe 6 months after promised. That's one reason they have a 2.0 out of 10 rating on resellerratings. If you don't mind waiting that long that maybe OK.

You should've received an e-mail where they postpone the shipping date. They give you 10 days to confirm if you still want to wait, and cancel your order if you don't act. The e-mail says it is done due to FTC regulations.

They don't charge your CC until the order ships. You can easily cancel at any time before that.

I am glad I did not check resellerratings.com (as I usually do) before making my first order. I found Sportsman's guide to have very good deals for Russian ammo if you are not in a hurry. I had quite a few backorders during last 6 month, and pretty much everything has shipped. Now backorder dates for ammo are ridiculous - 4+ months for most, but I can understand it in the current situation. I just hope this craziness will end rather sooner than later, as so far I did not hear anything about restricting ammo sales.
