Since the price on this is still $6.99, if I combine this deal with the other deal (NuGiant surge protector, $10 with $10 rebate), I can get both items shipped for a total of $2.26 in shipping after I get my rebate cards back. Final price including postage: $3.16 for two items. Not bad.

For some reason, I am getting shipping of $7+.
I know I ran into this once before...don't remember the fix to get it doen .. tried a few different ship to addresses... |

i am sure they are playing politics now. they did not charge this high before. usually $2.50 max. now they increase the shipping on those FAR items so they can sell their inner circle membership. |

I wouldn't call this a money maker considering the shipping costs...it's not even FAR (free after rebvate) either

TigerDirect uses UPS SurePost for the "Econo Ship" option, so I'm sure that went up as well. For Reference: UPS Increases [ups.com] FedEx Increases [fedex.com] USPS Increases [usps.com] With that said, before I was seeing $2.29 shipping for Econo, and now almost everything is $3.63. I don't think shipping went charges went up that much... but I'm Inner Circle, so it doesn't bother me.

Actually I will have to pay .62 cents for this fan After rebate as my total came out to:

We will still be paying for shipping even if you include the rebate. It isn't actually a money-maker unless you have the paid account membership or you order something that subtracts the rest of the shipping. |
