21.99 + tax for 500 rnd at my local range (GAT Guns, Dundee IL). They have it in stock all the time. They tell me the manufactures are causing the shortage... so its not real.

thanks OP, grabbed 20 boxes (1k rnds) and at the time it never said out of stock or on backorder. Its not a crazy good deal but its about average. Problem is these are sold out everywhere and even at the gun show couple weeks ago they are selling them for more than this.
I picked up these exact same bullets at Gander Mountain a couple months ago (when they had plenty) and i paid $27.99 for 500 rounds. My price after shipping and all was $56.31.
