LED lighting bulbs in Seattle COSTCO 60w - 4.99, 65w-5.99 100w - 9.99 after instant rebate B&M only

oh boo. got excited but I live in another region. the $15 feit "omni" led bulbs are great though. picked up two so far.

These Feit LED bulbs are pretty terrible, I bought six of the 65w BR30's at $10/ea and the light quality is quite bad. Some of them make a buzzing sound when dimmed that can be fairly annoying. I have serious doubts they'll last longer than a year or two. Compared to the Philips LED bulbs we bought (that were twice as expensive) these are worse in every way. Anyway at $5/ea it's a good deal even if the product is subpar. Repped.

got these when a similar rebate was active in sacramento. Paid $4 each, and love them. Great light and no buzzing here. (been using for about 6-7 months)

I had the buzzing issue when i used wrong dimmer switch; fixed the issue with new dimmer. The bulbs are amazing.

Note that the rated lumen output - the actual "brightness" of the bulb, which is what matters, not the wattage - is a bit on the low end compared to an "equivalent" incandescent. E.g., 750 lumen is 50 short of the typical 800 for a 60w incandescent. As someone who likes lots of light, it can be annoying

I have about 45 of the Feit 13W LED light bulbs. Purchase 20 of them back in November at $4.99 after instant rebate was applied (shame I had to pay tax at the $14.99 price.) Only had an issue with one of the light bulbs. The plastic cover came off the head so I returned it, but not to the Costco I purchased the bulb from (I have 3 Costco stores in my area.) The Costco I visited was not running the instant rebate. Customer service person told me, the rebate is not active in all stores. Just two weeks ago, that Costco had the same bulbs on sale with the instant rebate so I purchased the max: 25 bulbs. No issue with any of the bulbs. I would buy more at that price.

when i replace incans i normally use a more powerful equivalent. so ill replace a 60w with a 75w or 100w equivalent. it solves the "i like lots of light" problem and still slashes energy bills.

crap I've been looking for led bulbs. guess its worth a trip to see if they are on sale.
