this round, at least when last night this thread was posted, there were about 10 of grade-8, several grade-6 and -5, barely a -4.
but i don't know what's left now. after all, if it's grade 4-5, you can get something equivalent at ebay for less i think .

Verizon will force you into tiered data if you upgrade. It is a fact

Yes, you just need to buy phone at full retail or buy one off Craiglist etc

Yes, buy a used phone - no worries. Another option is you have a dumb phone on your plan that is eligible for an upgrade, you can order a new smartphone like the Note 2 and then when you get the phone, activate it on the unlimited data line instead. I would only buy the upgrade phone through Verizon to be safe - they are aware of this and approve of it

CowBoom really does have outstanding customer service. You can not beat their return policy and I realized after I place this order I forgot to add the $10 off coupon. I replied to the order confirmation email asking them if they could still apply it - and they did!

Was able to snag a grade 8 last night and based on my experience with Cowboom I am sure it is going to look like brand new!

AFAIK it's a no. Or at least it isn't a simple flash. I looked into it a while back and decided it wasn't worth messing with it. Haven't seen anyone one on hofo or kitty with one.

yes, it will. Might need a little tweak to disable or bypass that 4G radio.
since it's verizon's phone, and PPC uses VZW's network,
voice and text, and 3G data should be available natively.

kitty is not the best place for smartphone flash; while info on howard scatters over places.
Verizon's 3G phone should work on PPC natively, and 4G phones need just a little tweak.

Grade 8s keep popping up throughout the day. I bought one. I hope I enjoy it. It is replacing an iPhone 4. Someone kill my buyers remorse and tell me I did the right thing.
