liam li is fine if you give zero f about sound and airflow in a case.

there are much better PSUs for $40~$50. which i regard much better as i avoid rebates like the plague. this is pretty much a $60 psu for most people (not in this forum, i agree, but still)

I remember reading a couple reviews on this PSU that stated that while it is made by Seasonic, it has lower quality capacitors than the Seasonic branded PSU's, like the S12 that is similar to this one.

Agree with your first sentence. Every power supply has a unique power curve, but the 'average' power supply is usually going to be most efficient around the 50% load range (310W in this case) and be less efficient during low or at max usage. I feel my point is valid because it is quite likely you will be using around 300W (depending on setup) and if you are maxing out a power supply it is going to run less efficiently. It may also run less efficient if you are using low power (<100W) but since you arent using very much power in this case who cares about efficiency anyway.
Also this is a certified 80plus PSU which means it has to be >80% efficient at 20,50, and 100% load. Though its possibly it could have dips in efficiency between these load %'s, its pretty unlikely

Finally installed this. It was perfect for my server build. The cables are long enough to reach everywhere in my full heigh tower. And, there was 6 SATA power connectors long with a few molex ones. This fit perfectly for the amount of drive bays I am going to have/use.

Power draw on a idle E5-2620 with 5 drives has been about 100-120w so far.

Can someone upload the rebate form for this? I can't locate it online & don't seem to have saved a copy.
