Computer Deals needs to separate laptops and desktops
When I'm looking for a desktop gaming PC and all you show me are laptop deals on devices that suck for gaming, you are wasting my time... I understand lots of people use laptops (me too), but it would make sense to separate the subcategories a bit.

 The vast majority of Computer Deals posted by our members are for Laptops. I would say probably 90% are Laptops and maybe 10% Desktops. It just seems that is the trend of what the merchants are offering their best deals for. So it probably would not make sense to have 2 separate subforums for desktops & laptops, at least not at this time, with this current trend. |

How about you just give Apple it's own forum? That's all the staff behind the computer forum seems to care about anyway. 7 "featured" deals, all macs, and only one with discussion..........

for desktops (especially gaming ones), you are better off building it yourself - you will find quite a few deals on computer parts (of which are 90% desktop parts) - but a "desktop" or "laptop" tag wouldn't be a bad idea

(Computers > Desktops and Computers > Laptops & Notebooks) Not all OPs add those subcategory tags when creating their threads, though, so if you see a deal for them that doesn't have the desktop tag, feel free to add it. We try get to as many as we can to add the proper tags, but any help from users is also appreciated
