Yes, it will take 2GB Sim. However, upgrading the memory requires removing the keyboard to access the bottom door release. Search YouTube to find a helpful video. hth

Yeah and even then there will always be compatibility issues with some apps. Windows 7 is probably someone's best bet with this machine
