awesome deal, way too many games on sale this weekend. I already got Walking Dead, Max Payne 3 and now Hitman I wonder where my money goes

Totally worth it for a very underrated game, IMO. I enjoyed it as much as Dishonored.

If you liked the rest of the Hitman series, you'll *hate* this (and probably cry a little). And I loved Dishonored.

If its a good game its a good game. Why does nostalgia have to be such an annoyance? Who cares if it isnt like the rest of it does a good job anyway? We're moving forward in time people.

ANYWAY, can someone please comment on whether or not the DLC is at all worth it? I can grab it all for $3 ish but I dont know if its needed or if it does anything positive for the game. Anyone know?

I guess Valve hasn't noticed or something, but technically the sale poster on the store's front page says "Hitman Absolution is 33% off"... Does that mean this is a price mistake?

While it's not a Hitman game for purists by any stretch of the imagination, what I've played has been fun. For the price, it's gorgeous and fun if you like stealth/action titles, but that's just my two cents.

What do you mean? I've played the previous hitman games. How is this one different?

To me, at least, it feels like less of an organic experience. The signature kills are great and all, but all you have to do is pull up your challenge screen and *whoops!* all the answers are right there.

I didn't get as much of a feeling of exploration and discovery; in short, it felt more linear to me. Like I said, I'm still enjoying it so far, and I'm definitely not finished yet. I'm one of those OCD types that needs to check every box on a checklist, so I'll have some motivation to replay levels, but I can understand folks who won't.
