Hello guys, I wanted to share something very interesting that I found. This software enables you to run Android as an app and is much faster than any emulator. bounce

Quote :
WindowsAndroid is Android running with Windows kernel!
It does not run by a simulator (such as VirtualBox), it's on real machine, so it's fast!
It keeps full Android capabilities. You can run all Android apps, including 3D games!

Alternative download link http://www.androidfilehost.com/?f...6658471029

You can sideload apps (.apk) by putting them in this folder. --> windowsandroid_root\data\app

Did it crash after the installation or did the installation program itself crash

same here, it's suck on the booting screen (the android lettering part) and then a pop up tells me that it crashed, but it's still going... hmmm I'm running it sandboxed though

I'd recommend trying Android-x86 in virtualbox.

This software is still early in development and very unstable. If you want something more stable grab a Android x86 image for Virtualbox or try Jar of Beans. Bluestacks works too, but its still on Gingerbread.

Bluestacks can be rooted to allow certain apps to be installed, is this true of this program or similar programs?
