I am going to connect the USB cord to my Dell monitor (U2412M) USB port rather than the desktop since no USB ports are available and its closer. I assume this will not be frowned upon?

Got my mouse today (from Amazon) and it is obviously a return, package tape had obviously been peeled and reapplied, and the mouse feet are scratched up like crazy, more so than the other g400 that I have been gaming with for 5 months. Should I return it? Or test it and if it's acceptable, keep it? I can only hope that it was returned because somebody didn't like it, as opposed to working incorrectly or having the damned angle snapping issue.

make sure you pay 0$ for shipping. I'd say buy another one now for 30$ before price changes while you return the other  but yeah.. if you had bought a game and it was the same condition as your mouse, would you keep it? HELL NO.
