Thanks. I've had my MX revolution (LZ627B5) for close to 7 years or so and love it. I've usually had a wired connection to the net, but nowadays I run completely wireless.
The current wi-fi setup interferes with the bluetooth dongle, and when I do some heavy downloading (4+MB/s) it almost renders my mouse completely useless. I've used apps to check the input lag and all that and there wasn't much I could do about it. So, I'm glad to have found a decent wired mouse to use at a decent price. |

If you're looking for a claw grip mouse you should probably be looking for a smaller mouse. I never buy mice without at least going to a store and laying my hand over them to see how they feel. While my mind can be swayed by sales and advertising about the best mouse for me, my hand always knows which mouse it wants. Seriously I strongly suggest you go to a store and check them out. I've used MX510's, MX518's, and the G400 for as long as I can remember. Never have to lift your hand off the desk to use them, never have to move them more than about 2 inches in any direction and don't even need a mouse pad(at least I don't). Very smooth. Note: This is not just a gaming mouse. It is a great all around mouse. I use it for both. Last edited by gymsock; 01-28-2013 at 02:04 PM.. |

I just bought this from newegg two days ago for $39.99... Now the question, I'm wondering if I should ship it back as soon as it arrives and buy it for $29.99 plus tax. I'd save about $7 minus shipping cost to get ot back to them. Probably not worth the trouble, but im happy to see such good reviews.

After a few wordy emails they are giving me $5 back. I was just about to purchase it from bestbuy and refuse neweggs shipment.I guess I'll just be happy with what I got.

Bought the mouse today. Can someone give me an overview on getting it set up? I tried using the default mouse programming options on W7 and at max sensitivity it was painfully slow. I installed the Logitech software, and raised the DPI, and it's more sensitive now; however, I have to keep the software open which is a bummer.
Am I missing something here? Help would be very much appreciated. |
