i booked hampton inn north las vegas/speedway on Sunday night. this hotel is really close to speedway so yea. Used my HHonors points.
For Saturday night, I ended up with candlewood suites in las vegas which was also booked with Priority Club points. I booked this because it used to be 15000 PC points before they upped it to 20000 in their recent reward structure change. However if you call in to PC reservation hotline, they will do a courtesy adjustment at the old rate so I felt like I should take advantage of this value.
No friday night, will be driving in from LA, going straight to EDC and party till the sun is up! Then hopefully i can bum around my friend's place until check in time or do an early check in on Saturday.

Decided not to stay at a hotel w/ a casino as i won't have time to gamble anyways, and need peace and quiet after partying all night... im getting old...

I'll vouch. My friends and I got two rooms last year with them (their deal was at PH towers instead). Everything's legit. If i do decide to go to EDC this year i'll definitely be booking with them. This is a fantastic deal imo

Luckily for us, EDC was smart enough to start show at sunset and end it at sunrise, so while it's hot, it's bearable

For all those going - purchase or reuse the Insomniac aluminum water bottles!!! They were a lifesaver to have.
You can also reuse any container you buy at the show, but only for that night.

Anyone know if any current hotel deals are still running for edc weekend? June 20-23. So far Ive been searching on Kayak.com and founnd PH or Monte Carlo to be decent.
