Maybe if you guys and gals were to contact Newegg about the issue with the previous rebate(s) they might assist you or even fulfill the rebate. Fry's stepped in to fulfill two rebates for me after the "rebate vendors" refused to honor them (even though I did submitted everything correctly).

That's most likely a company directive. OCZ probably instructs 4MyRebate to hold on to the rebate and not order the prepaid card for the full 10 weeks because they dont have the money to fund it. The same thing happens with Nuance software rebates through 4MyRebate.

4MyRebate is generally very fast at processing rebates, especially those from TigerDirect. I usually see a turn around time of 4 to 6 weeks from when I mail it in.

Also, unlike RebateAccess, you actually know whats going on each step of the way. They tell you when they receive your rebate and you can view a scan of what you sent in. They also notify you when the rebate has been approved, and usually shortly thereafter your prepaid card will be mailed.

The only downside to 4MyRebate is that they use AMEX Prepaid Cards, which you can't wipe clean using Serve. AMEX does offer the option to request a check, but their customer service is atrocious and the process isn't customer friendly at all.

I wish companies went back to the old days of issuing checks, or at least giving you an option to request one. Not everyone wants these stupid prepaid cards, especially with smaller rebate amounts.

I'm a bit confused by some of the responses above...if you did the same thermal compound deal in November, are you eligible to receive this rebate now? The terms and conditions on the rebate aren't so clear either.

What's the difference between Mx-2 and MX-4?

You think the rebate processors would get wise and issue rebates electronically via Serve or PayPal- think of the postage and waste/cost in materials it would save. Either that or force people who use their service to sign up for just one card (which you must keep) and all future rebates through them get loaded onto that card. Common sense thinking is seriously lacking in this industry

ummm....I am still waiting for my rebate from last time....it shows received and processing for the last 2 months.

Only rebate I had issue with was ZZF before they went belly up. I ended up contacting BBB and they did send a rebate check after 9 months.

Since the pre-submission site allows you to enter quantity=2, I don't think you have to send in 2 envelops as the terms required, because one pre-submission confirmation page serves both items.

RebateAccess/status-now also handles Kaspersky and Nero. It's slow but reliable.

i actually purchased 4 different items over the weekend all with rebates, had some questions about how long will it take or is it actually will arrive (from people experience) was going over the forums the find some info but didn't see anything specific, seem like a good thread to write
