By the way, there is no way a large can hold 10-12 sweaters. I've used two large bags so far, one fit a queen comforter and sheet set. The other bag held two crocheted "afghan" blankets, about queen size each. I would have had a hard time fitting much else in those bags, though they did shrink down immensely.

Those are shipping dimensions. The product itself is over 30x30" (Look at the dimensions listed on the bottom-front of the product itself).

Has anyone read the reviews on these bags over at DRUGSTORE.com? Avg 2/5 on 19 reviews (for one of the packages).

Good deals but the durability seems to be lacking. Too bad. Otherwise, a great product.

Too bad that manufacturers tend to massively cheap-out when they have such a great concept. An inventor's idea probably was bought by a bigger company that massively produced the product using the cheapest method in order to maximize on the initial lauch of the product.

It also might be engineered to fail, as with many other products, to keep you coming back for more!

was going to go to Kmart and buy a 14 gal. Rubbermaid tote container for 10.00 going to give these a try, i have two clothes baskets full of clothes, think 4 bags will hold that amount of clothes?

Serious question, if you use these to go on vacation what happens once you open them and have no access to a vacuum to reseal them for the flight home?

I mostly use mine for storing winter/summer stuff. I put all my heavy comforters in them. I use them for winter coats, summer clothes, clothes Im not wearing but not ready to toss.

But yea, I guess you'd have to ask housekeeping for a vacuum or something.

The travel bag you roll it up and the air comes out. For the bags that require the vacuum you could do the same, but you wouldn't get as much air out.
