Seasonic is a premium PSU brand. It's a good price relative to other Seasonic products. If you don't want to pay the premium for the Seasonic brand then don't. No one cares if you buy yada yada brand for less. |

great deal, however, just make sure your psu doesn't have bad coil whine that may drive you insane

Paid 130 for the x650 and it is a great power supply. Fully modular and the fan never needs to turn on which makes my pc very quite. The x750 is a steal at this price. Highly recommended!

Regarding OP, this is a very high end PSU for a high end build. For the vast majority of builds, you don't need it. |

I don't need one right now, but the price is very tempting to have one as a backup just in case ...
Then again, I don't want to keep this on the shelf only to find out it is DOA when I finally need it. Anyone knows a good value PSU tester? |

Just a headsup the one I bought last time is doa. I then bought the antec Eco 620 and am happy with it. For anyone buying this as a backup, just test it before putting it on the shelf.

Ok, I need some advise. I'm building a decent gaming / Video Edit / Photoshop system and am conflicted as to whether to get this PS or not.
i7 ivy OC 4.5 16gb (2x8) 7970 x 2 Mild OC 256GB SSD 1TB 7200 DVD Swiftech H220 It all fits in 750watts (about 650 or so under load), but should I wait for a deal on a larger PS? |
