I think it will depend on if they give us 2 $13 codes or 1 $26 code. I bought some since I had referral credits but e-mail said to wait 48 hours for redemption. Right now the system doesn't recognize redemption code when I tried to use it.

So many steps. Just bought one, too. After the purchase you get an email to print a pdf from Brandlava.


Then you need to go to brandlava.com/redeem 48 hours after redeeming the code. Hopefully it will be one code and not multiple ones. $13 isn't enough to cover a basic movie in NYC unless I go before noon.

I have been buying and using these for almost every movie I attend.

The only downside is that you have to use them at the box office. A number of local theaters have started doing group seating, and one even assigns individual seats. If I use the theater's website, I am ready to go. To use these at a popular movie, I need to get to the theater twice, once to get the tickets and once to see the show. If not, I risk sitting in a crummy seat.

Fortunately, the theater is only about 2 miles from the house, and I can get seats up to 4 weeks ahead of time.

I tried to do that the last time this deal came around, but it didnt work for me. Fandango uses a different checkout system now, and the HMM number (as a Visa credit card) doesn't go through anymore.

Yep, this happened to me also. I bought a code from another site and it was 2 separate $13 codes. They never did this before but I think they're cracking down. I still have about $300 Cinemark and $200 Fandango left over from all the converting in the past. I'm good so I'll pass on this.

It appears not. I just bought four of these after I read about converting them to Fandango (did this once before), got my confirmation e-mail with codes and NOW it tells me I can use it at Rave, AMC, Loehmanns or some other theatres, most of which do not have stadium seating. Urg!

Too bad the Fandango conversion trick appears to be dead. The short redemption window kinda kills it for me. Don't get to the movies often enough to take the chance.

How do you see participating theaters? The website requires a code to see them.

Deal is only good for me for evening showings or with 3d showing. Otherwise I lose a $1 a ticket.
