You could use the freeware TrueCrypt instead of Bitlocker.

 put in the windows key and then got rejected (purchase dates were ok, so was the OS)

In my case, the PC I am upgrading is at a different physical location than the New upgrade-eligible PC, so logistically I haven't been able to get the license off of it. |

So, this whole thread might be moot anyway.
It seems that I can only buy a single license at a time on each system. I can't seem to find where to purchase a block of licenses at one time (without going through Microsoft's Volume Licensing Service, for around $60 per). Anyone buy a batch of licenses yet? If so, where'd you go to do so? |
