try your luck at walmart for the 70" its a crap shoot on model # though. There is no camparison of p/q, this Plasma will win all day. For my room lighting the gt wouldnt work.

I'd go with the Panasonic, much better picture quality. I'd sacrifice 5" for superior picture quality, black levels and performance. Specially motion

Buying a 4k tv is worse than buying a car that only runs on jet feul. Theres no 4k content really, just like gas stations don't carry jet feul. What makes it worse is you would physically be able to reap the rewards of traveling faster with jet feul, with 20/20 vision, you wont be able to reap the rewards of a 4k tv.

i warn you guys now, just b/c panasonic makes this big ass, expensive tv doesn't mean they're a high end electronics producer.

if you buy this tv, leave it on for two weeks and make sure it works. if not return it to amazon. I warn you now, panasonic will not stand behind their products. I'm on day 50 of my repair process and about a dozen calls and every time they say "they're working on it" or "we're waiting for...." i've had a broken tv since two weeks after black friday. It's not my fault, b/c at first i believe panasonic was going to fix my tv like they said. farkers

that would be the ST, there's no significant difference in the GT and ST, the VT gets you the one panel of glass.
