All of which are unfounded and have been largely shot down upon closer inspection. I don't expect the N4's successor to arrive until around a year after N4's debut.

This is exactly what happened to the Wii U buyers. Glad I didn't follow that bandwagon.

Personally, I'd keep the HTC and flash it with CyanogenMod. I have a Nexus 4 and I love it, but I'm not sure I love it enough to pay around 2x the price for specs that don't massively affect the way I use my phone. But that's me, and whether it's worth it for you is a question only you can answer.

(Edit: Note that I'm saying this only because you said you got the Amaze for $160 unlocked. If it was, say, $50 more expensive, I'd probably spring for the N4, and if it was $100 more expensive, I'd "run, not walk" to the N4.)

Google is collaborating with Motorola and plans to launch Phone X in May at I/O.
Nexus 5 (and most probably Key Lime Pie) are expected to launch in October 2013.

For some time Google may keep Nexus and Motorola Phone X range separate due to legal and business reasons.

Well $163 to be exact, i guess i will just mod it, can you pm me a link to the best current up to date CyanogenMod? hoping its pure google and not SenseUI.

PLEASE don't buy them just to sell. Some of us actually want this phone.

There are supposed to be plenty of them by mid February, so you might even regret trying to resell them.

when resellers are able to order the phone so should you be... so stop crying and keep refreshing the page..

I'm sorry..but this thread gives me the giggles. It's JUST a phone! There will be more even if they sell out in 2 hours.
The need to have the NEXT BIG THING *IMMEDIATELY* mystifies me sometimes.
I had the Samsung Nexus and loved it. So don't get me wrong, ain't knocking the Nexus.
But this reminds me a bit of the commercials Samsung did about the people standing in line to buy the next Iphone.
