Well it's not just an "immediately" thing...people have been waiting since like last November to get an order in. Google highly underestimated demand for the phone (as usual), and they've been going back/fourth blaming LG/blaming Google on the supply constraints.

Normally I would agree with you, and the Nexus 4 is the first Nexus phone I've gotten, but it was well worth it every single penny. It's not just a next big thing...it's a huge value for what you're getting.

The type of hardware, and the fact you're buying it unlocked, free from carrier branding, and un-subsidized, is a fantastic value. Even if you hated Android, you can look at the value of just the type of hardware you're getting and go "wow". You could buy two Nexus' before getting one unlocked iPhone 5...that's how great a value it is.

My S2 died a couple weeks ago and I need this phone, hopefully I can grab one tomorrow morning!

Just listed couple on Ebay after seeing this post and they sold almost instantly! Instant moneymakers!!

I would hope so bad that this doesn't actually follow through and you get bad feedback up the ass.

Sorry for the stupid question, but are these GSM or CDMA units? I am on ATT and want to get one. Also I see they are already out of stock and the OP mentioned they will start selling them on 1/29/2013 at 9 AM.

Early adopter of this phone. Just wanted to say that I do like it but don't love it. Good phone at a great price. It gets really hot when watching movies or playing games. Better than wife's iPhone but not as good as Samsung Galaxy s3

My friend works for Motorola Mobility and he keeps telling me how he's not allowed to say he works for Google.

Yeah it's a kernel issue. LG/Qualcomm kind of farked up a bit on that. If you're rooted though and want to try something to alleviate that franco's kernel applies a fix from Qualcomm does a great job of doing so. It's the only thing I've modified on my Nexus 4, otherwise I've kept it stock.

Waiting for an update from Google to fix some bugs that need to be ironed out, like that.

GSM/UMTS, so yes, it will work on AT&T.

It's listed as out of stock because Google started selling these phones on November 13, and it sold out faster than a Woot Bag of Crap. There has only been one restock since then, and that one didn't last long, either, so it's basically been OOS the entire time. Jan 29 is the rumored date for the next restock.
