Not bad at all.
What do I need to get something like this?
2 Nexuses and 2 dumbpnones.
I am switching from Sprint, 5 lines, just one line w/Evdo data, 800 minutes, free Sprint-to Sprint.

I am going to own all 4 phones.
Appreciate any tips.
It wasn't a special deal. Just go to T-mobile store and ask for the plan.
I got 2 nexus 4, 1 sensation and 1 nokia lumia 710. Bought the sensation for $150 and nokia for $100 on ebay for Dad and Mom. Me and my sister both have 16gb N4.

I don't have anything to suggest beyond what's on T-Mobile's family value plans [t-mobile.com].

BUT, they do offer discounts that are pretty easy to qualify for: http://slickdeals.net/f/5036672-T-mobile-12-or-10-off-total-bill?v=1
Thanks, much appreciated.

Thanks, repped! Smilie
I've got two dumb phones for $21 each for my parents and mother-in-law, I am cheap Smilie
Well, they wouldn't know what to do with the smart phones anyway.
Me and my wife got Nexuses, mine is 16GB, hers is 8.

Does your plan include free t to t calls?

Yea, every plan other than prepaid has free t to t.
I think your bill should be a lot lower, probably around $125 after taxes.

You sir are full of bullshit.
You are telling me you can tell the difference between 326 ppi and 320 ppi.
Also, iPhone 5 is brighter but has worse black and contrast ratio.
Source,

So I do have two nexus 4's, and they both have this screen door effect.
The iphone 5 is brighter, thanks for supporting me on that. Someone else just called me a different name, and all I can tell you is that it is not subtle. The iphone 5 is easily brighter, but they are both bright enough.

B/c of the screen door effect, which I am saying is present on some screens, but not on others, it appears that you can see pixels. It's a piezo electric or vibratory effect, like a fritzing. The reason I said that I believe that it depends on which actual screen OEM you get, is b/c it's not only this screen door effect, but the white balance is much more yellow. I compared my Nexus 4 with a Nexus 4 from two t-mobile stores. These screens did not show his screen door effect. In fact, I saw two Nexus 4's from two different stores before hand, and that's why I ordered--b/c the screen while no iphone 5, was acceptable to me. The two Nexus 4's came two days later in the mail, and immediately upon opening, I thought, what the heck is that screen door effect? Again it's visible on aqua blues and light grays. I noticed it right away.

OK, found some semblance of support for what I am talking about: http://forums.macrumors.com/showt...?t=1457659

Short answer is that not all LCDs are created equal and there may be some QC issues. But some people are more sensitive to this than others. I also have very good eyesight, so there's that. Asked my friend "look at this do you see anything?" and for what it's worth, they noticed it as well. How much it bothered them, though, was not as much as me.

With the screen real estate, it's possible to not use 1280x720 very efficiently. It's the same reason why on an ipad mini, despite it being 1024x768, you can actually see more lines of text in safari than in chrome. Apple highlighted this in their presentation. It's not a huge deal but what I was trying to say is that I did not gain nearly as much screen real estate as I expected moving to a 4.7 inch screen. Yes, things were bigger, but I wasn't seeing that many more lines of text due to differences in the way chrome renders text. Maybe it puts more space in between divs or something.

If anyone is looking for a bumper, I'll sell mine for $18 shipped. I bought it and didn't like it, so it's only been used for a few days. PM me if interested.
Specifically, why did you not care for it?

You can improve your credibility by easily attaching two screenshots, one from the N4 and one from the iPhone of a web page (to prevent cherrypicking, choose this thread on SD and scroll down until both are lined up at the top of the first message and don't pick large font in the settings). Try both landscape and portrait. Also a screenshot of the about device on the N4.

One, you will show you at least have access to a N4 and two why you think the screen estate difference is insignificant. If you cannot, then you just confirm what most suspect and I suggest you go troll somewhere else.

You can always pick a web site whose layout wastes real estate, a lot of forced empty space so cherry picking is possible. So pick the above as suggested.

It will not verify your claim of the screen pixelation issues, of course, but at least people will give you some benefit of the doubt if you at least have access to a N4.

Not enough drop protection. It just covers the sides of the phone, and I don't think it's thick enough to absorb shock in case of a drop. I'm trying this out:

Being honest, neither one is going to give you excellent drop protection. The TPU case, while flexible, is still fairly rigid and thin (1.4mm).

It is an excellent fit and I highly recommend it, but it's not a fat brick of an otter box if you're looking to toss it down a flight of stairs bounce

That was my favorite thing about the Galaxy Nexus. The low-density plastic combined with a thin Diztronic-esque TPU case allowed it to survive drops down flights of stairs without damage (mine anyway). I'm talking bounces of 2-3 feet off the floor here.

The heft and materials of the LG paradoxically confer a higher-quality feel while being significantly easier to destroy.
