I read those comments in a different way. I think he is speaking to the impact this increasingly powerful media has on a public debate. When virtually every bipartisan effort is criticized by their fellow members of congress--even when that doesn't occur, the right wing media goes nuts over it. Even solid republicans end up getting primaried for appearing to work with Democrats. I heard these d-bags on the radio RIPPING on LaTourette for his bipartianship. For these media hosts, its 100% pure conservative 100% of the time or you're a target.

That is a major problem with our country right now. While bipartisanship isn't dead, it sure has been in a coma for a long time. And these schmucks on the radio are feeding that problem.

Your interpretation is a representation of what YOU think Obama thinks. What he said has little to do with your interpretation.

Perhaps to verify a core education in the sciences or to better understand your basis of knowledge?

Perhaps. But generally that would be verified by a BS and MS degree in engineering.

You'd think so. But I have no idea--i was only taking a shot in the dark.

I suppose some firms may care about a high GPA--but i haven't come across any that really care after you have substantial experience. And event those who DO care about your grades, they only look to your law school transcript.
