bought this beginning of the month. Opted for new due to the reviews of the refurb. A lot of people reported getting 4th gens. Replaced a crappy belkin I had and haven't had issues since.

Bought an Apple refurb for $159 a couple of weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it. Getting better speeds on all my devices consistently. Don't know about the quality of the BB refurbs, though.

i ordered this same deal last year and after waiting a week for shipment i got the previous generation. the MC model. So I had to send it back and wait another week for them to reship. was kinda a bummer since i was in a hurry at the moment.

Looking at the reviews, I'd say that Best Buy doesn't have very good QC on their refurbs.

I received one during last sale in December and it works fine and is the latest model. Apparently YMMV

I'm just going to take it back to a store if this is an old model, etc..
In for one - used up some rewardzone certs on this, so it ended up being ultra cheap - and lately best buy has been upping their game in regards to prices and return policies, so I'm optimistic about my in store return if this ends up being a piece of crap.
