I don't know if you know this, but PSY doesn't just 'post youtube videos.' He makes incredibly catchy pop music, and one of his marketing avenues is youtube. You think that he posts on youtube to directly profit from advertising on youtube? If so, you're wrong. Psy is first and foremost a pop star, meaning that he makes most of his money from performances, selling his music, and selling merchandise related to his music/performances.

So yes, anyone could post a video and make millions. But unless you give us some genius idea for content, you're basically saying "hey you can make a lot of money by doing something creative that people like!" which is pretty much useless advice.

All very nice, but none of that says he made $33m from his youtube hits. He has 1.2bn views for 1 video, which at $25/1000 views which you claim people like Psy get, would be $33m.
