Seems like a fair deal if they actually put out 250 lumens and will last more than a week

I have that set. I paid $19.99. I might pick up another set for that price Big Grin

I've had mine for a few months now. Great quality and still holding strong.

There are three modes: Low / High / Strobe. And if you press and hold the button, it will light up in High mode and turns off when you release the button.

I've been waiting for this sale. They also had a 2 pack of larger flashlights for a good price...of course brighter. these will work better in the car tool kit.

I have used these for a while and never had an issue. They have changed the models only slightly in the last 5 years. My only gripe is that they seem to slowly drain the battery, and when the battery gets low the button on the bottom glows red which is a neat idea except that it makes it certain the flashlight will be dead. When I leave them in my car they slowly die and when I need them they are worthless. I now put a piece of paper in the flashlight to break the circuit and that solved the problem of the flash light draining. When i need the flash light it only takes about 10 seconds to unscrew it blow away the paper and screw it back in.

If you use the flash light regularly then perhaps the slow drain and warning light isn't an issue. for me it is a poor design feature that they have yet to address.

The new 250 Lumen flashlight no longer has the low battery indicator. The on/off button seems to be better protected than the older lights.

I have bought the same set last year and I use one of them almost everyday. Nice enough to have around the house and for emergency. They may have improved the switch button like mentioned above. Will pick this up if I am in the market. Sure are brighter than my e2dl surefire but not as well build.

Why would you use a flash light everyday?

i just looked at mine as i type, posted are rated at 250 so they are mostly improved emitters which are brighter. Last years models are rated 200 lumens, with plastic lens that can get scratch easily.

Addiction to light darkness? venture at candlepowerforums and you be surprised on the compulsive.
On a serious note, I have a pretty huge backyard thats dark at some areas, walk the dog nightly, like to work on car engines and so on.
