Bought this phone the last time it was at this price and couldn't be happier with the purchase.
You really need to load a custom ROM on this to get a true appreciation of this phone. Started with CM9(ICS) and now have CM10(JB) and is one of the best phones I have owned. Very smooth interface and great battery life. |

I actually like this phone I first got it for my 11 year old daughter and I was so impress with it that when my Sprint contract ended I went ahead and got it to my self have no issues with speed or freezing. It has been excellent and I actually pay $179 at T-mobile even though you get a 50 prepaid card with it.No problems here

why pay big money on a subpar phone? You are better off buying this phone used on Craigslist. I see them as low as $75 (asking). Save the different toward a better phone.

I had this Exhibit 2 4G for about 2 months, it doesnt even have 512mb of ram as stated - more like around 350mb or less.. There are many other better choices out there - even the Samsung Focus 2 for $149 that was also advertised on ebay brand new is a beast compared to this. Skip this phone. It will only get slower and slower by time. |

Adding to the above, there's also the pantech burst unlocked for $130. 4 inch screen, nice display, Dual core, 1GB ram, 16gb internal, SD slot, Android 4.0.x OS:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/Cell-Phon...|1500|2000 I have it. Battery life may not be that good but I like it. The phone in this thread has a 3.7 inch, single core processor. hmmmm. It may be a more polished product than the Pantech, not sure. Wonder why not more people are buying the pantech burst. Its no Samsung GS3 but still, the price is (still) real good. Used to be $99 but even at 130 its good I think. Last edited by alanky; 01-30-2013 at 07:27 AM.. |

I've had this phone for about 8 months and it's not great. I would go with other options. There are three big problems that I've noticed with the phone.
1: It randomly starts vibrating and won't stop until you restart it or take out the battery. For my phone the trigger is when I get a message on skype. It's set to vibrate when I get a message and before I turned off that setting 90% of the time it would start vibrating uncontrollably. At lot of people have this issue, look it up. No fixes. 2: The screen is not bright at all and for whatever reason if you're in direct sunlight the screen brightness lowers it self automatically making it harder to see. Even with screen brightness 100% you can barely see anything in direct sunlight. 3: I had this issue for a little while, but it resolved on its own. With some carriers for whatever reason you lose the ability to send text messages through the native text messaging app. You can receive them, but the phone will fail to send text messages and there are no fixes for this issue. It's a problem a lot of people have had as well. You can search for it on google. For problems 1 and 3 samsung has not found a fix and does not take blame for it, so I don't see it being fixed. For 2 I havent really tried fixing it, but I couldn't find a setting to stop the change in brightness on its' own. It might be a feature of android and not the phone itself. If you can deal with the three above problems and the okay call quality than go for it. Also, someone mentioned earlier that there are issues of clicking when you make phone calls. That happens for me from time to time as well. Last edited by rishii; 01-30-2013 at 07:42 AM.. |

used this phone for over a year, just sold for $100 and miss it a little. i suggest peach sunrise if you want debloated stock, or slimbean if you want jelly bean; both worked fantastically as a daily-use rom, glitches were rare and inconsequential. the only drawbacks i felt notable were the plastic body (typical of samsung) and no light sensor (you will have to manually adjust to not be blinded at night, and to see in direct sun).
