The exhibit II should be at $100 unlocked, it's not a bad phone but it's not worth more than that in my mind. t-mobile choices sort of suck though because of their AWS 1700/2100 hspa+

I have 2 of the Exhibits for my kids who don't have data plans but want smartphones; these are safe from AT&T's sweeps for phones that need their plans to be upgraded to include data!

Pantech Burst is not eligible for this use case but the LG L9 and the HTC EVO Design 4G might.

Really? Just about to pull the trigger on the Pantech Burst for my kids on T-Mobile, nice spec and price for entry phone. But after reading your post I have 2nd thoughts, are u sure it only works on Edge? I can't seem to find any info on whether it works on higher speeds like 3G (it supports LTE) on T-Mobile. Thank you.
