Last year, when Thailand was flooding and thus the production of 1/3 of the world's HD plants was down and out, I bought a 500GB of the same drive and was happy to pay $90 for it (due to a slickdeals special coupon). The drive is working fine in my mbp and the price is excellent.

computer (hardware) novice here. i have an MSI laptop (Vista) 2 GB RAM, Intel CPU T1500 @ 1.86 GHz (??? have no idea what any of that means), with (only) 43 GB (C
and 97 GB (D hard drive space. Would this internal notebook harddrive improve both the speed of my laptop and hard drive space? if so, how difficult is it to replace a hard drive in a laptop?
