Picked this up last time it was on sale for the second workstation at home, not a bad little card. Also a small tip, when looking at Tom's Hardware VGA Charts checking out specs be very careful, triple check your model numbers, they list a faster Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 Ti OC but the link takes you to a regular 650 that's $119 last time the rebate was also toward this which made it look like an awesome deal.

Kind of wishing I hadn't pulled the trigger on the regular MSI 650 ti card last night. I hope they aren't that much different.

What particularly catches my eye is the inclusion of Borderlands 2! The game is fantastic and adds significant value to the deal.

The "regular" card with the blue/gray cooler is also a slightly OC'd version. 650 Tis overclock extremely well so you can go try to increase it to 980-990MHz. Memory clock is the same on both I think. So not a huge difference between the two, except the Cyclone II cooler looks nice.

what's the power consumption of this card

I was on the fence in making the decision yesterday. Fortunately, I waited a day.

The Power Edition comes with a slightly faster clock speed (993 vs 954Mhz) and a fancier cooling fan. It also comes with some features that make overclocking a little easier.

All in all, I'm not sure that it is worth the additional $30 for regular purchases. But at $109.99AR plus freebies plus cashback from Mr**bates, it's a no-brainer deal for me.

i haven't been keeping up very well, but if i pair this with my celeron G550, am i going to be really cpu bound? in other words, is my CPU going to hinder this, and if so, what would be a better match for the g550?

anyone think that $40 for a 7850 or something equivalent would be the better investment if it wanted to keep it for more than a year?
