Picture People $16 for a Photo Shoot with Eight Photo Sheets ($144 Value)

Seems like a good deal, would this place be okay for professional (in suit) pictures for linkedin and other websites? Or is it mainly for babies haha!

"One pose only" means a few shots of the same pose, right? It's worthless if it's just a sheet of one shot lol.

Also, no way in hell that's worth $144. For one pose, it's not worth half that.

Portrait Innovations is where I've gotten my son's pictures 4-5 times. "One pose" means one specific picture, so it's good for kid pictures so that you can hand them out to all the family but not good if you don't want 32 copies of the same picture.

I'm not sure if Picture People does this, but Portait Innovations tries to sell you lots of extra pictures, and it takes an extra 20 minutes of saying, "No...no...no...no...no...no..", to just get the $10-15 package.

Save your time & money and hire a real photographer.

JCPenny had this for $4. I think walmart's everyday price is like $8

They take a bunch of pictures (different poses), then show you the 15-20 best ones. Of those, you get to select one of the images, and all 8 sheets will be of that one image.

Places often offer deals like this because they think there's a pretty good chance you'll like more than one of the shots and will want to order additional products.

It's good for people who want to send a picture of the kids to a bunch of people, but are ok with losing all but the "best" image from the shoot.

I agree ... I did this deal last Sunday (this groupon is very frequent) and ended up spending another 109 dollars. Not that I regret but I could have lived without it.

They will take multiple photos with multiple poses, you can have family or children or individual photos, change clothes, theme based etc-etc and then sales pitch starts ... they show you all the picture (Good one) on big screen TV.

For this groupon you will be entitled for 8 sheets (with different size) of same photo (pose).
Per sheet normally is $18 so $18x8 = $144.
They have sitting fee and other fee also but it is waived with this groupon.
They don't cut the sheets so what will you do with all these sheets ... give them to relatives/friends?

This groupon on top of 8 sheets of same pose will also let you buy other product at 50% off. Like they will offer you High Resolution CD of all the pictures with copyright released and water marked removed for $75 which is $150 normally.

at sears portrait studio ...you can always get one sheet for free and similar to this package is cheaper than groupon - $12.99.... not a very good deal....

Quality of pictures is way better at picture people as compared to JCP or sears. That's my personal experience.

This place is very good even for professional photos. I love their picture quality and usually spend more.

Better deal is if you have an entertainment coupon savings book they have a coupon in there where you get 1 free and 30% off the rest of the portraits you buy (its ok if you don't buy anymore). My local Picture People has never pushed me to buy more sometimes I walk out of there with only the free portrait.

And Picture People never charges Sitting Fee, they used to but not since last 5-6 years that I've been going there. At least not my local PP.

they want 75$ for a digital cd which i need to use for online stuff... in addition to the groupon :/
