I had a $10 credit with LivingSocial, so the $30 voucher to ProFlowers was "free". I ended up getting two dozen long stem rainbow roses w/ no vase (I have my own), shipped to my work, the day *before* V-day (I'll put them in the vase and deliver them myself on V-day.) Total out of pocket after the $12.99 shipping was only $15.95.
Not too bad compared to the best local deal I found last year from Whole Foods, which was $20 for two dozen regular (not long stemmed) roses + tax. So basically I'm saving ~$7 and not having to hassle with crazy parking lots and packed grocery stores with long lines. |

This deal is kind of ridiculous!
The $30 only applies to the flowers/vase themselves, and does not apply to Shipping and that weird "Care" BS, so I was able to get my total down to $29.99 (1 dozen red roses + 1 dozen "Free" and NO vase), but I still had to pay $18.86 in the end. So it was basically about $30 that I had to pay anyway! Laaaame! One Dozen Red Roses + 12 FREE $39.99: $29.99 $30 off: -$30.00 Standard Delivery $12.99 Delivery Rebate Click Here Care & Handling $2.99 Tax: $2.89 TOTAL: $18.86 |

The livingsocial "fine print" for the proflowers deal says: "If a purchaser fails to redeem their voucher by 3/31/2013, purchaser agrees that purchaser will have purchased $15.00 in paid deal bucks to be used on LivingSocial.com only, and the voucher shall cease to be valid for a purchase transaction on proflowers.com." Do you think livingsocial would actually credit us the $15 or only our $10 out-of-pocket cost if we don't redeem this deal by March 31?

btw, the Livingsocial Deal can be combined with the deals from RetailMeNot. I just completed by order. Other promotional deals will not work. I got $60+ flowers delivered on Valentines Day (or the 13th depending on scheduling) for $25.
Here are the RetailMeNot deals: http://www.retailmenot.com/s/proflowers Do me a solid and follow this link for the LivingSocial deal if I was able to save you some additional cash: http://www.livingsocial.com/deals...i=39024597 The ones you can combine are for the specific arrangements, not the general percentage off. In the end, it's not really a deal. PF hides the final cost until the very end when you have already gone through the hassle of inputting payment information. PF uses variable shipping rates from 7.99 to 15.99 to recoup any promotional discount savings that customers obtain. Then they tack on a $5 V-day delivery fee and a $3 "care and handling" fee (everywhere else that is called "Shipping and HANDLING".
