My Kenyan coworker said this is a helluva deal, even if you were born there and could get the appropriate discounts from all involved.
He said the typical rate for a Kenyan safari is about $700 per day per person (for hotel, food, guide, etc), not including airfare! |

I've been on a 12 day photo safari in Kenya and it was awesome. Seeing all the big cats in person without a cage is crazy. Riding in vehicles in Kenya, you will get beat up (driving beside the road is often smoother then driving on the road)
