For the record (these are generalizations and don't always hold true):
If you want to juice vegitables and leafy greens, you want a masticating juicer. If you want to juice fruits, you want a centrifugal juicer. If you want to be able to drink liquid veggies and fruits and want all the fiber, get a Blendtec/Vitamix. If you just want to do wheatgrass/leafy greens, get a hand crank masticating juicer and save money. Masticating juicers don't do mushy things well. Centrifugal juicers can't do greens (they can to a limited degree, but you're throwing your money away). Blendtec/Vitamixes don't juice, they blend...so if you're just looking to get maximum nutrients without getting full on plant fiber, this is not the way to go. Masticating juicers have the advantage of being able to make nut butters, process doughs, extrude pasta, etc. Blendtec/Vitamixes have the advantage of being able to decimate anything, crush ice (and make snow), and do smoothies. Centrifugal juicers are one trick ponies. |

It's not that one way is better than the other, it just depends on what you're going for. |

This juicer is the bomb. It paid for itself in our house because we haven't wasted a fruit or veggie since purchase. We went from no juicing to five days a week for over two years now....and this is the exact one I have and it works as good as it did on day one.
Cleaning is a breeze...my only recommendation there is to clean immediately after use. We then just set everything on a towel to dry since it will be used again the following morning. |

Nota bene for all those who have purchased the juicer: If you receive an email informing you that your shipment will be delayed (mine was delayed a day from the promised 2-day delivery), call Casa (855-687-2272) and talk to a customer representative. After they confirm the delay, express your disappointment and ask if they can do anything to make up for the problem. I did this and they credited $15 back to my card!

I just received this yesterday... it was pretty fun juicing everything in sight. The only part that was hard to clean was the mesh basket.
I just used a strong spray from the garden hose and blasted all of the remaining fibers from the basket. PRoduct was bigger than I thought. Definitely takes about 20-30 mins to prep veggies and to clean. HTH |

I would like to advise everyone to open their juicer first and inspect it before running out and buying bulk fruit like I did. My unit came and it had clearly been used and parts of it were missing or cracked. The customer service responded perfectly to the situation - so I can confirm that this is a great company to deal with.

Love ours! Learning to go slowly, keep a garbage bowl nearby to avoid a huge mess, and make smaller batches and taste first
Love strange things like fennel but didn't love red peppers which I really like eating whole. Sometimes the flavors don't ransfer so well. Ginger is a must, as is mint and parsley. Apples, carrots, cucumbers, sweetpotato - all get the most juice imo. The beets give a great color but stain everything ![]() I looked over all the higher end models, and unless you are a hardcore juicer or have a large family/very limited time, don't see a huge benefit vs the extra $$$. I could see where the bag of pulp vs non is helpful but not such a huge deal imo. |
