I guess I have 55mm in folding and its big, I guess 58mm would look really big and I am having average oval face.

most likely these are real but sold grey market (excess inventory/stolen/defects/etc) without warranty... hence the cheap price

im in for a pair as a backup since i always seem to leave my originals at home or in the wrong car when i need them

You people do realize 58mm is the standard size for most aviators don't you?

62mm is the large version.

I couldn't really understand what you were saying lol, but I think I got the gist.

I'm assuming fake Bans may have different specs. But, I know TRUE Ray Bans comes in 55, 58, and 62...Small, medium, and large respectively.

And the "small aviators" which I'm guessing are 52mm

Well not really, this is a classic aviator design so nothing has changed. Luxotica makes sunglasses for many other majorr name brands so Ray-Ban benefits from their expertise in making eyewears.
While its the same design, the quality just isn't there anymore. I had been wearing Ray-Bans since the 80's, but sadly Luxitica "expertise" is in cost saving measures.

I contacted Ray Ban the last time the flood of fake Ray Ban posts occurred. Buydig is not an authorized reseller of Ray Ban sunglasses. If you buy Ray Bans from Ebay you're going to have a bad time. Not to mention Ray Ban doesn't warranty the products if you buy them from resellers that aren't recognized as authorized. This is the email Ray Ban sent me:

Thank you for contacting Ray-Ban. I do not see the site that you listed on our most current list of authorized online dealers. We will not be able to vouch for the product that they offer, and have sent the website information to our web security team for further action.

While our list of online dealers is always changing, I have listed a few of the larger sites that we have partnered with below. If you come across another site you would like to verify, please feel free to let us know. I hope this helps. Thanks for your time.

www.SunglassHut.com
www.Zappos.com
www.Amazon.com (no third-party dealers on Amazon - only direct from Amazon purchases)

www.PearleVision.com

Thanks for sharing the information. To add to that list, Overstock.com sells Ray-Bans as well. It's a lot cheaper than most retail stores like SGH, Nordstrom, etc. But if you're planning to buy any brand name item from eBay, just know that you're taking a risk. =/

made in china?
I believe some Ray Bans are now made in China, but the Aviators and Wayfarers are made in Italy. If labeled otherwise, they are likely grey market or counterfeit.

Buydig is a reputable seller when it comes to cameras; however, when it comes to Ray-Ban sunglasses, one doesn't know WHERE their source is. Buydig may have good intention, but unless their source is 100% reputable, one can only guess. Even reputable sellers get a bad source once in a while (Bluefly got a bad source for fragrances before). It's a 50/50 chance.

Yea I have these particular ones and they are made in china, didn't notice it until after I got them. And you're absolutely right the wayfarers (at least the pairs I have) are indeed made in Italy.

I don't know how well this works but if you're on the border deciding what size to wear, ray-ban does have a virtual program that allows you to see the product on your face before buying. http://www.ray-ban.com/usa/scienc...ual-mirror

I don't know about Buydig but both the wayfarers and Aviators I purchased from Beachcamera are made in Italy. I don't think these are fakes as they are going to face class action lawsuit if they dare. This is definitely FP deal worthy.
