I have been working with grey market Ray Bans for 15 years.

ALL parts for Ray Ban (excluding some very high end series) are MANUFACTURED in China in Luxotticas own factory. MOST models though are ASSEMBLED in Italy, thereby have the mark "made in Italy". The EU is cracking down on this and that is why we are seeing more and more "made in China" marks.

There is one single country in the world that have different (legit) Ray Ban Aviators: India. For some reason that I dont know (but it is since the BL days) they have their own RayBans. They are absolutely horrible! You can get them for a fraction of the real-deals online. You can see this by the label, the Indian Ray Bans have a red/white label with a red string. The case is also different.

$69 is very very close to Luxotticas buy back program. An honest large dealer (so called "top dealer") can return these to Luxottica for credit.

So are this legit? No idea, but it could be if:

1) Merchandise is stolen (most probably).
2) Merchandise is from India (lousy quality).
3) The quantity offered is small (dealer coulnt or didnt care return it to RB for credit).

I don't know about Buydig but both the wayfarers and Aviators I purchased from Beachcamera are made in Italy. I don't think these are fakes as they are going to face class action lawsuit if they dare. This is definitely FP deal worthy.
Just FYI to many, Beach Camera and BuyDig are the same retailer.

These guys want you to believe everything that is not in their "network" is fake... Rayban are not really an american brand anymore.
interesting video. I get my glasses from China from Chinese companies and they cost about 12 USD on sale. None of them have broken so they aren't too cheaply made.

in for 1 58MM Black. 1YR Warranty and 30-day return policy. Seems legit and if not can return. Thanks and repped!
Not sure how they can claim these have a warranty when Buydig and Ebay are not authorized sellers. Rayban will turn down any warranty claims.

Who/how do you get them from in China?

I visit China every couple of years. When I'm there I go to this higher end chain retailer (for China at least) called BaoDao. They have pretty good sales, cs, and a lifetime warranty on their glasses

That's an interesting information about the India Ray-Bans.

But I could never find a decent pair of aviators in India for less than $100!

Unauthorized deal. Not Polarized. Rayban does not provide warranty, so the "1 year manu warranty" is fake.

Also $69 is not a slickdeal. Is this a joke? People actually went in on this?

While its the same design, the quality just isn't there anymore. I had been wearing Ray-Bans since the 80's, but sadly Luxitica "expertise" is in cost saving measures.
I agree. Their "expertise" is really Marketing AND Monopoly. When Ray-Ban lenses were made by Bausch and Lomb, they were some of the best lenses around. Now, they put in decent lenses but the prices are even higher, even accounting for inflation. It's a huge Monopoly they are running by cornering the "eyewear" market.

FYI, Costco is a good place to get sunglasses, if you find a style you like. Typical Ray Bans are 60-80 dollars. They have a large assortment of brands (sadly, most by Luxottica), so almost no matter what you buy, you are buying this company's brand.

Another reason why I do not mind 'not' buying from an 'authorized' reseller as long as it is genuine. I could care less about the warranty as I probably used one or two ever in my lifetime. For $69, this is slick if real.

Got my order very quickly (in California). Ordered gray frames but came in gold. Have e-mailed them and will see what they do to correct.
