I did this last year and got the gift card no issues. I confessed to salesman that I was there for the offer; he willingly signed the paper and I was out the door.

and what about doing this at more than one dealer with different addresses and incorrect phone numbers (so that they dont call and ask to confirm address)?

To do this from home go to the website below:
http://www.kia.com/#/dealerlocator/dealerEntry Put in your zip code. Select your dealer by clicking "quick quote". Look in the URL after /dealercode/CODEHERE, and you got your dealer code.
