Interesting concept , but what happens when the spkrs go belly up or something ; seems you'd need to replace the whole darn thing... mounting and all .
Also to note in the discription it says 40lbs . Not sure I'd want to add another 40lbs to the wall on top of what ever size tv your mounting . (not trying to thread crap ya , just an observation) |

All good points. I don't really know much about it and I didn't buy one for myself, I just saw it and thought it looked interesting and the price seemed pretty good. Found a few reviews that were pretty positive, for both this system and their 3.1 system. I spent $99 on a "virtual surround" soundbar, and this is just $20 more and gives you true 2.1 sound with decent power output. The original MSRP is way high though, because for that price you can buy a full blown 5.1 speaker system and a nice receiver.

My buddy bought this from hsn last year for almost the same price. Now it is showing $199, http://www.hsn.com/products/audio...em/6929180
He hated this thing and finally sold it on craigslist for $40 which took a while to get rid. It is really really heavy and personally I would not risk the tv or people around it. Look at the third review on the hsn site. Sorry op, hope I did not upset you. A good find if it was not so heavy. Just trying to warn people of the hassle. |
