Yeah sucks most of there deals in store only. I purchased the CPU, mobo and ssd for $305 on Sunday. Will MC let me come back in with reciept and get updated pricing? Nothing is actually open yet cause RAM was last piece of the puzzle. So would love to get basically free ram for what I bought.

Their customer service trumps newegg these days. I shop microcenter now instead of newegg due to their customer service taking a nose dive. Also microcenter has stood behind every recommendation and purchase I have made,. They went so far as to upgrade a system board they had recommended due to incompatibility and they upgraded it for FREE. Customer service is AWESOME at microcenter. As usual you have to be nice. I have heard some people yelling at the customer service people and that will probably not make them want to help you. Having worked retail I used to purposely screw over people who were jerks to me and my fellow "clerks". Obviously found a career more suited to me.

I picked up a i53570K (189.99), asrock z77 pro4 (59.99) and samsung 840 120GB SSD(78.99) and a optical drive (15.99) yesterday. This was my first trip to MC and I was amazed at all the components.
The price on the website does not reflect the current B.Y.O. month flier so you will have to ask them to check. Which was not an issue.
One more thing, with the optical drive, they did not have the one that i ordered online so they just upgraded me to a little better model.

Very pleased with MC and will be going back.

Also in NJ the store is in a enterprise zone where the tax is only 3.5%

Just receipt. In my case I didn't even have the receipt, so they pulled it up from one of the registers and then I had to goto customer service to have it adjusted.

FYI, two weeks ago it was $160 for an i5 3570k and -$40 mobo combo. Last week when it was $190 for an i5 3570k and -$40 mobo combo. I think best time was when you could use the -$20 coupon at the beginning of the year.

Good deal if you're looking to get a ssd in the mix though.

Microcenter often varies the prices dramatically to create the illusion of a sale while maintaining their profit margin. For instance they've had the i5 3570K for 169.99 regularly and $40 off mobo. So with this updated "deal" at 189.99 its more like $30 off a mobo combo.

Samsung SSD has been $74 after coupon before. This is a budget line SSD but you will continue to pay a premium price if you keep buying it at whatever price they think up that day. $100 regular price for this drive is laughable.

That Crucial memory is the everyday price or slightly higher than their average pricing over the last couple of months. They raised the price $10 and then gave you a $10 discount, is that a deal?

So FYI Microcenter often raises prices and then discounts to create the illusion of a sale. I would shop around, or wait till next their next catalogue, if you are looking for anything other than a i3 3225 combo and even then Haswell is coming...
